1. General
Or Elyashiv Law Firm (the "Firm") works to ensure that the website elyashivlaw.co.il (the "Website") and the service provided at the office are accessible to people with disabilities, in the belief that every person is entitled to receive legal information and service equally, with dignity, comfort and independence.
2. Conformance Level
The Website has been adapted to the requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and of Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at Level AA.
The adjustments were made in the Website's own code rather than through an external accessibility overlay, so they work natively in every browser and with common assistive technologies.
3. Accessibility Adjustments on the Website
- Keyboard navigation — every component can be operated with the keyboard alone, including the menu, forms, questionnaires and the cookie preferences dialog. A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page.
- Focus indication — the focused element is marked with a clear, prominent outline.
- Semantic structure — pages are built with hierarchical headings, defined navigation and content regions, and ARIA labelling, allowing comfortable orientation with a screen reader.
- Colour contrast — text, link and button colours were checked and adjusted to the required contrast ratio.
- Text alternatives — meaningful images and icons have a text description; purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms — every field has a clear label, required fields are marked, and error and success messages are shown in text and announced to screen readers.
- Responsive display — the Website is adapted to desktop, tablet and mobile, and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Reduced motion — the Website respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting and disables animations accordingly. The Website contains no flashing content.
- Language and direction — page language and reading direction are defined in the code, in Hebrew and in English.
4. Known Limitations
We invest effort in making every part of the Website accessible, but some components may not yet be fully accessible, in particular:
- Third-party content and services — the Website includes links and components operated by external parties, such as the Google map on the Contact page, a WhatsApp chat link and links to social networks. The accessibility of those services is determined by their operators and is outside the Firm's control.
- Articles — the Website publishes a large number of articles, and some may contain isolated accessibility issues that have not yet been identified.
If you run into a difficulty while browsing the Website, please let us know and we will work to fix it as soon as possible. In any case, any information or service offered on the Website is also available by phone or email.
5. Accessibility Arrangements at the Office
The office is located at 5 Canaan Street, Or Yehuda, Israel. Clients are received by prior appointment only.
- The building entrance is step-free.
- The building has an elevator.
- There is no designated accessible parking on site.
- There are no accessible restrooms on site.
So that we can prepare in advance and make sure the meeting suits your needs — including arrival, parking and any further adjustments — we recommend letting us know when scheduling the meeting. In view of these limitations, a meeting can be arranged at an alternative accessible location, and meetings can also be held by video call or by phone, with documents provided in an accessible format on request.
